NO KILL SOUTH CAROLINA'S FLORENCE AREA COMMUNITY CAT PROJECT SNIPS CAT #1000!

No Kill South Carolina 2024 proudly marks a significant milestone in the Florence Area Community Cat Project – the successful spaying or neutering of the 1000th free-roaming cat, only six months after the program's inception.

TAYLOR SWIFT TICKETS RAISE $15,000 FOR HOMELESS ANIMALS 

 The crowd went crazy at the Applause for Paws Mystical Moonlight Ball benefiting Charleston Animal Society when two tickets to an upcoming Taylor Swift concert went on the auction block. Three minutes after they were offered, the tickets sold for a mindblowing $15,000.

$5,000 REWARD OFFERED FOR INFORMATION INVOLVING DOG WITH MAGGOT-INFESTED WOUND

A black and white dog named Tillson is recovering at Charleston Animal Society from a severe neck wound caused by an embedded collar.

FOUR ANIMAL SHELTERS HONORED AROUND SOUTH CAROLINA

Four animal shelters from around the state received awards from No Kill South Carolina's Pick Me! SC statewide adoption event.  The recipients of the first-ever "Most Pawductive" Awards were shelters that did the best job engaging their supporters to come into the shelter and adopt during Pick Me!
