Charleston Animal Society is proud to announce its continued commitment to excellence with awards from two of the most prestigious nonprofit watchdog groups in the country.
- In May, Charleston Animal Society was selected as a Top-Rated Nonprofit, achieving a 5-star rating. Great Nonprofits is the largest site for donors and volunteers to find inspiration and information about nonprofits. Over 20-million users annually use content from GreatNonprofits.org to learn, get inspired, and get informed about charities.
- In May, Charleston Animal Society received the GuideStar Platinum Seal. This is the highest level of recognition offered by GuideStar. GuideStar is among the most respected nonprofit watchdog sites available to donors. This information at GuideStar.org allows donors to make the best decisions possible.
“These awards are the cornerstone of how we want to operate Charleston Animal Society,” said Charleston Animal Society CEO Joe Elmore, “we achieve these awards by being transparent to our donors and sharing data that shows the impact we are having on our community every single day.”
