This academic camp provides a wonderful introduction to veterinary medicine and is a perfect program for any high school student interested in a career in this field. Classroom time will be balanced with opportunities for observation and involvement at Charleston Animal Society’s AHAA Accredited medical clinic and hands-on work with our shelter animals. High School students will be doing physical exams on animals, learning how to read X-rays, watching surgeries, observing a crime scene necropsy, managing disease, vaccination injections, and much more!
